Over the course of multiple seasons, I worked with Papyrus to bring their vision for the power of art and paper to life in the Papyrus Cafe at Spring studios. I designed eye-catching backdrops that told the story of paper’s importance to fashion, as well as custom designed elements to fill the space with Papyrus’ particular style of glamour. Working with a variety of talented vendors, we created multi sensory experiences, from custom beverages to hand written haikus, to give attendees of New York fashion week a moment to pause, reflect and maybe even mail a greeting card to a loved one.

For the Fall season, I referenced the foundational elements of fashion, paper patterns, in a large, dynamic wall installation. In celebration of the brand’s partnership with designer Christian Cowan, I integrated elements from his collection. This included custom floral displays and a digital screen integrating hand-drawn sketches into the space.

In Spring, Papyrus was focused on florals. I designed an abstract floral paper install that served as the backdrop for our cafe and activations. Filling the cafe with simple and elegant items, we created a restful space for guests to enjoy.
