I created a flexible and vibrant design system for the launch of Vimeo’s tentpole event, Streameo. Speaking to members of the streaming industry, I developed a ‘retro-future’ aesthetic that brought together the familiar visual style of the golden era of broadcast television and today’s optimistic maximalism. Starting with a bold wordmark, I developed a bold palette and library of assets that could support the wide variety of executions needed for a multi-day, hybrid event.
Streameo A live two-day event for the OTT streaming industry
I worked closely with members of our events team to create fill the broadcast with moments of joy. Playful interstitials such as quizzes, playlists and short-film screenings complimented our speakers and expert panels.
Enticing people to attend our event required messaging that was both agile and eye-catching. Using the design system I developed, we created hundreds of promotional assets across channels that helped us hit our attendance registration goal weeks in advance of the actual event.
