I worked closely with a variety of teams across Vimeo to unify the visual treatment of all of the company’s public facing live events, broadcasts and series. After working on many separate, individual events, I identified the need for a holistic approach to both the strategy and design of our events to create efficiency internally and send a stronger message externally. Beginning by developing a framework and serializing events, I proceeded to create a fresh visual style that could be extrapolated across channels.
Working within the Vimeo brand guidelines, I used color, shape and motion in distinct ways to create four series within Vimeo Events. Webinars, Workshops, Debates and Commentary each have their own distinct style and format that is familiar to viewers and easy to replicate across the company. Working closely with team members to identify their content needs, I helped elevate their content and add a professional polish to their presentations.
